Dr. Phillip Weaver has served in the pastoral ministry for over 31 years. He and his wife, Kim, have beenmarried for 33 years. They have two grown children, Haleigh and Jeremiah. Haleigh is married to Capt.Matthew Beisel, a U.S. Army chaplain. Theyhave four children, with a fifth on the way. Jeremiah is acomputer programmer and is married to Kaitlin, a middle school special education math teacher.Philand Kim also have 3 smalldogs:Jubilee, Barksleigh, and Molly. Dr. Weaver received his Doctor ofPhilosophy (Preaching) and Doctor of Ministry degrees from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He has served churches in Alabama, Delaware, Georgia, and Louisiana. In addition, he has taught various courses at the college and seminary level. Dr. Weaver alsopreviously served as the director of the NOBTS extension center at Phillips State Prison in Buford, GA. Kimis a graduate of Troy University with a BA in Art/Photography. She has spent most of her married life as a stay–at–homemom, homeschooler,and ministry partner for Phil.She has a servant’s heart and also enjoys meeting the needs of others within both the church and the community.Sheenjoys photography as a hobby.
Phil and Kimenjoy spending time with their family, even if it’svirtually! Theyare fascinated by God’s creation andenjoy exploring nature and going on short hikes.They arelooking forward to getting to know the people of White County and exploring the beautiful scenery!
